I’M LEAVING FOR NEW ORLEANS ON TUESDAY!!
I feel like I have work senioritous. Am I done yet? Am I done yet???? Nope. But that’s ok. I only have a little more editing and I get to meet a new senior client and hug an old one tomorrow. It’s all good.
Miss Hannah is on the blog! Whoo hoo!!
Ok – so when Hannah and I first met – it took me a while to figure out that she’s freak’n hilarious. Like, dry, sarcastic, witty, “is she joking? I can’t really tell? Ok, I’ll laugh a little…I really hope she’s kidding…” hilarious. AND. I. LOVE. IT.
Hannah is a natural beauty and it was really important for her mama and her that her natural beauty shine in her session. Which is PERFECT because my amazing makeup artist is great at natural looks that are camera ready.
“What?” you ask. “What do you mean a natural makeup look? Why can’t I just not wear makeup?”
Well – my friend. Makeup is SO IMPORTANT when getting photographed even if you want to look totally natural.
I usually tell my seniors that the camera EATS THEIR FACES. And it does. Because of the way light and lenses and sensors work – our natural skin and features get very lost in images. A professional makeup artist’s job is to take your gorgeous face and perfectly smooth skin and emphasis your best features. Without an artist, eyelashes disappear, skin and bone structure is flat and not defined and you really, don’t look like YOU! Airbrush makeup can do amazing things for your skin – and it stays on the entire time with a flawless finish.
SO, Hannah booked my INSPIRED session which includes FREE COMPLIMENTARY professional hair and makeup application and got perfect natural waves for her long hair and amazing skin and eye emphasis. SIGH. What I would give for those freckles.
This shot? super fun. and YES…there were people all over the Stone Arch Bridge. I love photoshop magic!
